Set Up MetaMask (Testnet)

This tutorial will help you connect MetaMask to the Fantom testnet. Use the instructions below to add the testnet via a custom RPC endpoint. You may pick one in this list of public endpoints here.

Add Fantom to MetaMask

1. Go to MetaMask settings, click on Network, and then click Add network.

2. Click on Add a network manually.

3. Fill in the details below:

   1. Network Name: Fantom testnet

   2. RPC Url: https://rpc.testnet.fantom.network/

   3. ChainID: 0xfa2

   4. Symbol: FTM

   5. Block Explorer URL: https://testnet.ftmscan.com/

4. Click Save.

5. Access the testnet faucet at https://faucet.fantom.network/ to request some testnet FTM.
